WARREN, MI – Toyota Motor Sales USA, Inc. is implementing QEK Global Solutions, (US), Inc.’s Web-based asset management software system, called eGAMS, to improve fleet utilization of its 16,000 corporate-owned vehicles in the U.S.
QEK said the eGAMS system will allow Toyota to replace its multiple inventory management systems and associate portals with a single system. It is also designed to give the automaker a real-time picture of corporate-owned vehicle assets and related costs.
QEK currently provides the following services at Toyota’s headquarters in Torrance, Calif.: administration of company vehicle service operations, and “birth to grave” asset management. Asset management includes ordering, receipt, vehicle prep, license plates and renewals, rental and body loaner use, new- and used-vehicle sales direct to employees, and vehicle disposal.
