TORRANCE, CA – Toyota announced MSRP for the 2012 Corolla and Tundra Regular Cab full-size pickup truck. The company also announced new standard features on these models.

The automaker said retail pricing for the 2012-MY Corolla will start at $16,130 for the L grade with a five-speed manual transmission and will range up to $18, 820 for the S grade with a four-speed automatic. This is a price increase of 1.2 to 1.8 percent ($220 to $310, depending on the model). Toyota said the price increases for the 2012 Corolla will take effect with the start of production on December 5, 2011.

The Corolla L grade model will have new color-keyed power side mirrors, along with power windows with driver’s auto-down, power door locks, and remote keyless entry. The LE grade adds standard 16-inch wheels and steering wheel audio controls for the 2012 model-year.

The 2012 Corolla LE and S grades will come with a new standard audio system. The head unit combines an AM/FM/CD player (including MP3/WMA playback) and a USB port plus an auxiliary input jack. The system also features Bluetooth hands-free phone capability and audio streaming. Both the LE and S trim levels feature steering wheel audio control switches.

The 2012-MY Tundra’s base MSRP is going up by $720 compared with the previous model year. MSRP will range from $24,435 for the 4.0L V-6 with a five-speed automatic to $29,960 for the long bed 5.7L V-8 with a six speed automatic.

In terms of model-year changes, Toyota added a number of new features for 2012 to the Tundra Regular Cab full-size pickup truck. Those new standard features include 18-inch styled steel wheels, heavy-duty battery (not available on V-6) and starter, windshield wiper de-icer, daytime running lights, front and rear mudguards, and heated power outside mirrors.
