Tom Lauer retired from BMW of North America in January and now resides in Marriottsville, Md.
Lauer worked for BMW of North America, LLC in strategic sales management from June 2011 to his retirement.
Prior to joining BMW, Lauer was vice president, business development for PHH, where he worked for 20 years, from 1991 to 2011.
Before entering the fleet industry, Lauer received an MBA in finance from Loyola University Maryland in 1984. He earned dual bachelor of science degrees in finance and economics from the University of Northern Colorado, which he attended from 1976 to 1980.
