All successful businesses strive to build a winning culture, one that results in personal growth for their employees and excellence for their customers. However, hiring and inspiring greatness in a "blue collar" workforce of delivery drivers might seem like a harder endeavor than in other cultures. Or is it?

A seminar at DeliveryCon, taking place Oct. 16-18 in Las Vegas, will put this task into perspective for delivery fleet operators — with tangible results that go straight to the bottom line.

The seminar “Think Differently: A New Blueprint to Optimize Fleet & Workers” will be presented by Paul Gillmore, president of Slick.

Gillmore will demonstrate how leveraging the right fleet data, creating efficiency scores, and instilling worker accountability through scoreboards and rewards can produce results. Attendees will learn how these processes can be incorporated into various workflows using off-the-shelf asset management and business logic systems.

In fact, after implementing Gillmore’s plan the company realized an incredible 44% increase in billable hours over a nine-week period — without adding new labor, time, or costs.

Slick is a national provider of fleet optimization and management services. The company operates in 15 major markets and 23 states. Gillmore has played a lead role in building the company since its inception in 2016 through today.

“In his role as president of Slick, Paul has been able to organize, empower, and inspire others,” said Chris Brown, DeliveryCon’s conference chair. “Come join this seminar to understand Paul’s new ways to measure efficiency and help your fleet execute to its fullest potential.”
