TAFT, CA – Taft Chevrolet Buick Pontiac, in California, is expanding its sales, service, and rentals to include commercial and fleet sales and leasing, according to the Taft Midway Driller newspaper. Greg Broida will head the new department. Broida has been with Chevrolet since 1978 and is experienced in sales and management. He has worked in commercial and fleet management and been a training manager. Broida was salesman of the year at Three-Way Chevrolet eight times between 1995 and 2005, where he worked in both the retail and commercial and fleet division. Taft Chevrolet has already taken care of several local customers’ fleet needs, including the West Kern Water District, West Side Mosquito Abatement District, Taft College, and a Tehachapi services district. The dealership currently has three GM-certified technicians and will be adding two more in January.
