SAN DIEGO, CA –Systech Corporation, a designer and manufacturer of Internet payment gateways for electronic transaction markets, has created an alliance with Mannatec to convert dial-up fleet card transactions to IP-based transactions. Under the agreement, Mannatec has certified Systech dial-to-IP converters and will recommend and resell the product to retail petroleum resellers and merchants who want to transition their electronic funds processing from dial to IP. Systech Internet payment Gateways convert dial-up payment transactions to high-speed IP transactions. The converters connect POS systems, ATMs, check readers, and other dial up payment services to a broad range of credit, debit, check, ATM, and specialty processors. With the Systech converters, in-store payment approval devices from Mannatec are connected to the Mannatec processing host over the public Internet using encrypted SSL protocols. No changes are required to the installed Mannatec devices or applications. Merchants with existing, private IP networks can also use the Systech/Mannatec solution to convert and re-route dial transactions through existing WAN links. Merchants benefit from both higher-speed transactions and recurring cost savings from eliminating dedicated dial-up telephone lines.
