NEW YORK — In press conferences at the New York Auto Show on March 23, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Mercedes-Benz announced the availability of Sirius on 2005- and 2006-model vehicles. The service will be available as a dealer-installed option on Jaguar models beginning in May of 2005, factory installed on Land Rover (Range Rover) models in July of this year on 2006-model year vehicles, and factory-installed on the new Mercedes-Benz M-Class this spring and as a factory-installed option on six additional 2006-model year vehicles later this year and four 2007-model year vehicles next year. Drivers of Sirius-equipped vehicles will be able to enjoy 65 channels of digital-quality, commercial-free music, plus over 55 channels of news, traffic, weather, entertainment, and the best sports in satellite radio, including the NFL, NHL, NBA, English Premier League Soccer, and sports from over 120 top colleges around the country. The Sirius factory-installed option on the Mercedes-Benz M-Class will include a 6-month bundled subscription and is expected to have a manufacturers suggested retail price of $500. Jaguar and Land Rover have not yet announced pricing for the option. Besides the Mercedes-Benz M-Class, vehicles to have Sirius radio available include:
