Safelite AutoGlass Announces Fleet Contract With Ford
COLUMBUS, OH - Safelite Autoglass said the contract with Ford includes transitioning a total of 7,500 vehicles, with 3,300 in North America, over the next three years.
COLUMBUS, OHIO – Safelite AutoGlass announced it will transition its fleet to Ford vehicles. Safelite’s parent company, Belron SA, which operates in 32 countries, recently completed a global proposal process with Ford winning the bid for overall fit, function, style, price, and total cost of ownership, according to Safelite.
The company said that as its replaces its fleet vehicles under normal cycling time, Ford E-150 vans will be rolled out to mobile technicians, and repair specialists will transition to the Ford Focus Hatchback. Sales and operations staff will be provided with the Ford Taurus or Fusion.
Safelite said that combined with Belron’s other brands throughout the world, the contract with Ford includes a total of just under 7,500 vehicles, with 3,300 in North America, over the next three years.
