NORTHBROOK, IL – Donlen has promoted Jeff Pursell to VP of Project Development, and Dennis Straight to VP of System Architecture, both in the company's IT department. The positions report to Bill Chenault, VP of Informational Technology. Pursell has been a key player in the delivery of several major projects during his tenure at Donlen, including the implementation of e-Billing and PUSH, Donlen’s automated exception alert technology. Before coming to Donlen five years ago, Pursell worked for 10 years at Cardinal Health. He graduated from Indiana University in 1991 with a degree in Computer Information Systems. Straight has also played an important role in the development of Donlen’s technology. He developed such tools as Donlen Driver and FleetWeb Ordering, the FleetWeb Main Menu and Imaging. He also created the underlying common architecture for all of Donlen’s Java-based systems. Straight, who has more than 15 years experience in the IT field, came to Donlen in 2001 as a Java Architect. He graduated from Ball State University with degrees in Music Composition and Audio Engineering, and a Master of Science in Information and Communication Sciences.
