Porsche Launches Approved Certified Pre-Owned Program

(PCNA) this month launched Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned in a move to bring younger buyers to the Porsche brand, strengthen brand loyalty and awareness, and increase the value of pre-owned Porsches, the company announced. The program includes a 100-point mechanical and appearance inspection that is backed by the manufacturer’s limited vehicle warranty extension and roadside assistance program. Porsche Financial Services (PFS) will offer new-car financing and lease rates for eligible customers and vehicles. New Porsches have a four-year/50,000-mile warranty. The program extends the car’s original warranty by an additional two years or 50,000 miles. For vehicles out of warranty, the plan covers them for two years or up to 100,000 total miles. Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned applies to Porsche models originally sold through PCNA authorized dealers and placed in service within the last eight years. Only 1998 and newer models are eligible for PFS financing and leasing.
