Polestar Names Joseph Retzer as U.S. National Fleet Manager
Retzer has 17 years of experience in the automotive industry, beginning with Enterprise Fleet Management and most recently with Nissan North America.

Retzer will manage fleet sales for Polestar 2, available now, and four new models becoming available by 2026.

Polestar U.S. has announced the hiring of Joseph Retzer as national fleet manager, fleet for the U.S. market.
Retzer has 17 years of experience in the automotive industry, beginning with Enterprise Fleet Management and most recently with Nissan North America. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2006.
“I am excited to join the very talented team at Polestar and continue to grow our presence in the fleet space,” Retzer said. “With the growth of our offering portfolio, I feel we will be able to meet the needs of commercial, government, and rental fleets.”

Polestar plans to have a line-up of five EV models by 2026.
Polestar 2, the electric performance fastback, launched in 2019.
Polestar 3 SUV launched in late 2022 in Europe and will be available in the U.S. at some point in 2024.
Polestar 4, an SUV coupe, is launching in phases through 2023 and into 2024.
Polestar 5, an electric four-door GT and Polestar 6, an electric roadster, are coming soon.
The Polestar 0 project supports the company’s goal of creating a climate-neutral production car by 2030. The research initiative also aims to create a sense of urgency to act on the climate crisis, by challenging employees, suppliers, and the wider automotive industry to drive towards zero.
