PHH Arval Introduces New Accident Management Program
PHH Arval has introduced a new accident management program designed to provide comprehensive accident and risk management benefits to companies with small to mid-size fleets. PHH’s physical damage program is aimed at fleets that want all the benefits of PHH’s accident and risk management program, but do not want to self-insure. Under the physical damage program, clients receive auto-collision damage coverage in excess of $500 as well as the benefits of PHH’s accident and risk management program. The physical damage program is useful for: -- New fleets: New fleets are not likely to have the in-house experience to estimate potential losses or possess the staff to handle accident calls and administration. -- Decentralized fleets: Costs can be automatically allocated to each fleet division, and accident calls and administration can be outsourced. -- Fleets without a dedicated manager: A person trying to handle a fleet as part of his/her job is often too overburdened to deal effectively with accidents. The physical damage program puts drivers’ immediate needs first after an accident, then follows with comprehensive accident reporting, expert repair negotiation and management, subrogation, and consolidated billing. Real-time information is available via PHH InterActive throughout every step of the process. Accident services can be provided on a stand-alone basis or as part of a comprehen-sive fleet management program. The PHH physical damage program provides all the benefits of PHH’s accident and risk man-agement program without the need to self-insure. Key benefits include: -- Improved driver productivity, with PHH’s accident and risk management services (a 24/7 op-eration). -- Access to PHH’s preferred network of shops, with guaranteed repairs completed quickly at a competitive price. -- Reduced paperwork, as both drivers and fleet staff are relieved of most accident-related admini-stration. -- Monthly billing of costs and deductibles (no deposit required). -- Automatic cost allocations to multiple billing breakdowns.
