The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will talk passenger tire safety on Dec. 9-10 in Washington, DC.
The two-day symposium will include 6 panels of discussion.
The symposium will be chaired by NTSB Board Member Earl Weener.
The topics cover tire disablement and vehicle dynamics, tire registration and recall, tire aging and service life, advances in tire technology, tire maintenance and consumer awareness and identifying and analyzing tire disablement-related crashes.

Presentations will be followed by a question and answer period for attendees. There will also be a live webcast on the NTSB’s website for the public to view if they cannot attend.
The event is free and no registration is required. The event will be held in the NTSB conference center at 429 L'Enfant Plaza, SW, Washington DC 20594.
