The 2026 Fleet Remarketing Award Nominations will close on March 1. The awards recognize industry leadership, highlighted by a new award focused on fleet vehicle value creation.
Nominations are now open for the 2026 Fleet Remarketing Awards that recognize individuals, fleet organizations, and solution providers who are advancing vehicle remarketing through leadership, innovation, and measurable value creation.
The Fleet Remarketing Awards will be presented April 15, 2026, during the Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR) Awards Gala in Cleveland, Ohio, co-located with the NAFA Institute & Expo.
The Fleet Remarketing Awards reflect CAR’s expanded focus on its mission to help fleets preserve and prove the value of their vehicles at remarketing through data, technology, and strategic insight.

Recognizing Leadership That Drives Fleet Value
The Fleet Remarketing Awards spotlight the behind-the-scenes work that improves resale outcomes, raises industry standards, and strengthens collaboration across the fleet remarketing ecosystem.
“These awards are not about popularity or visibility,” said Chris Brown, CAR conference chair. “They recognize real impact — leadership, best practices, innovation, and results that help fleets realize higher vehicle value.”
For the first time, the awards are powered by an online nomination process.

About the Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR)
Founded in 1995, the Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR) has long served as a convening point for the stakeholders who shape how vehicles move through the secondary market.
For decades, CAR has brought together consignors, auctions, fleet managers, dealers, and service providers to examine the forces influencing vehicle values, remarketing channels, and operational outcomes.
In 2026, CAR returns with a renewed focus on its original audience and purpose: representing the voice of business owners and fleet managers while addressing the full lifecycle of fleet vehicle remarketing.
Under the theme, “Where smart fleet data meets higher vehicle value,” the conference will place greater emphasis on value recognition for fleet-maintained vehicles, the role of data and transparency in resale outcomes, and the evolving policies, technologies, and platforms reshaping how vehicles are remarketed today.
CAR 2026 will be held in partnership with the NAFA Fleet Management Association (NAFA) and will coincide with NAFA’s Institute & Expo (I&E), aligning two of the industry’s most influential communities.
