Nissan will offer a factory-authorized suspension lift kit with its 2018 Titan and Titan XD trucks that include coil-over shock absorbers that provide three inches of additional ground clearance under the pickups.
The bolt-on kits will be provided by Riverside, Calif.-based ICON Vehicle Dynamics for Crew Cab 4x4 models starting this spring. The kit will be offered as a factory-approved option and installed at Nissan dealerships in less than four hours.
The lift kit will include adjustable-height coil-over shock absorbers tuned for the trucks, custom rod end bearings, and Delta Joints. No cutting or drilling is required for installation.
"With the suspension lift kit's increased wheel travel and damping ability, ride quality should be enhanced both off-road and on," said Billy Hayes, Nissan's division vice president of LCV and trucks. "Titan and Titan XD are the most accessorized models in the entire Nissan lineup and the Icon kits are a great addition."
The trucks include a five year or 100,000-mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty. The lift kits will be under a separate warranty from ICON.
