ADESA Colorado Springs celebrated its inaugural sale on May 3 after relocating to 10680 Charter Oak Ranch Road, Fountain, CO, where 1,400 cars were offered. Jim Hallett, president and CEO of ADESA Corp., purchased the first vehicle and donated the proceeds to Mesa Ridge High School. The new and modernized ADESA Colorado Springs facility, located on 50 acres of land, features six auction lanes, a body shop, a four-lane detail shop, a full-service restaurant and an on-site Automotive Finance Corp. office. In other news, ADESA Charlotte Auto Auction has received World Omni Financial Corp.’s 2000 World Class Cyberlot Auction of the Year award. The award is given for supporting and executing Internet auctions for World Omni. Selling more than 20 percent of World Omni’s total volume of Cyberlot sales, ADESA Charlotte won in a competition of 17 auto auctions nationwide.
