FAIRFAX, Va. --- ExxonMobil has introduced a new formulation of Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5W-40. This fully synthetic motor oil meets or exceeds the CJ-4 and API SM industry standards, the company said.

"Turbo diesel engines are often asked to work very hard," said Giovanna A Bernal, PVL product offer advisor for ExxonMobil Lubricants and Petroleum Specialties Company, a division of Exxon Mobil Corp. "Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck motor oil is engineered to provide outstanding wear protection under extreme conditions, such as hauling, towing and off-road driving. At the same time, this motor oil delivers the same excellent performance during the everyday extremes of stop-and-go driving."

Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck motor oil is formulated with SuperSyn, an advanced anti-wear system, and is recommended for use in diesel-powered light- and heavy-duty trucks built by Ford, General Motors, GMC and Dodge. It meets or exceeds the manufacturer requirements for light-duty diesel engines such as Powerstroke, Duramax and Cummins; and heavy-duty diesels such as Mack, Detroit Diesel, Caterpillar and Navistar. It also is compatible with engines built to meet pre-2007 industry standards.
