COLUMBUS, OHIO – A new funding program for independent vehicle and equipment lessors will be detailed at the 51st Year Convention of the Ohio Vehicle Leasing Association (OVLA) May 24 at the Midwest Hotel & Convention Center in Columbus. According to OVLA President William Brough, the new custom financing program will be explained by Richard T. Mitchell, who heads up U.S. Bank’s recently launched Manifest Funding Services. According to Mitchell, national sales manager for the U.S. Bank program, the program makes competitive and custom financing available for new and used commercial vehicles, including, but not limited to, ambulances, limousines, tractor/trailers, and light- and heavy-duty trucks. The program can also be used for equipment leasing. Mitchell has 25 years in the commercial vehicle industry, including the past eight years on the finance side. Previously, Mitchell was involved in dealership fleet sales and managing an independent leasing company. He has been a member of the National Vehicle Leasing Association (NVLA) since 1986. U.S. Bank is an OVLA member. Complete details and registration materials can be obtained by contacting the OVLA office at (800) 369-5633 or e-mail ovla@uautolease.com.
