OTTAWA, ON – Netistix Technologies and Mobilogistics have signed an agreement that will see Mobilogistics represent Netistix and its FleetPulse wireless fleet management solution with customers in Atlantic Canada. “Netistix has partnered with Mobilogistics because they are a connected, integral part of the local business community in Atlantic Canada. They have the knowledge, the experience and consultative approach that we and our mutual customers are seeking,” said Gord Echlin, CEO of Netistix. Mobilogistics Inc. was founded by Trigve Vickers, an industry expert and visionary who has held several wireless data positions with some of the largest wireless carriers in Canada. “We have been tracking the development of Netistix technology for over year now.” said Vickers, president of Mobilogistics, “Their ability to bring to market such a high quality fleet solution combined with the ease with which it can be deployed makes Netistix a perfect fit for our business. This partnership confirms Mobilogistics' commitment to representing some of the best vendors in the industry.” Netistix technology has been deployed in several commercial and government fleets in Canada. The onboard device collects data, including idling time, and with this information managers have been able to reduce the overall cost of fleet operations. Chief among the benefits is a reduction in idling time, which in turn means that less greenhouse gas emissions and less negative impact on the environment.
