ISELIN, NJ – The National Association of Fleet Administrators, Inc. (NAFA) has recognized 13 individuals who completed the rigorous Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) program.
ISELIN, NJ – The National Association of Fleet Administrators, Inc. (NAFA) has recognized 13 individuals who completed the rigorous Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) program. The course, which must be completed within three years, consists of seven curriculum modules: asset management, business management, financial management, fleet information management, maintenance management, risk management, and vehicle fuel management. The graduates in the CAFM Class of 2005 are: Michael Atkinson, CAFM, Montgomery County, Maryland; Patrick Bartole, CAFM, New Jersey City University; Kenneth Bernard, CAFM, City of Roanoke, Virginia; Robert Charette, CAFM, Town of Groton, Connecticut; Carol Davis, CAFM, Advance Auto Parts, Roanoke, Virginia; Robert Elllingsworth, CAFM, State of Minnesota DOT; Irene Grant, CAFM, City of Abilene, Texas; Bill Hall, CAFM, Canada Post Corp.; Gary Horwald, CAFM, City of Santa Barbara, California; James Schwab, CAFM, City of Cincinnati, Ohio; Matthew Stewart, CAFM, Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, Illinois; Diane Watkins, CAFM, City of Cincinnati, Ohio; David “Scott” Watts, CAFM, Samson Investment Co., Tulsa, Oklahoma. The mission of the CAFM program is to foster professional education through a curriculum that features the important elements of effective automotive fleet management, as well as to identify people with exceptional knowledge of the practices and principles necessary for effective management of an automotive fleet.
