NAFA Fleet Management is seeking submissions for its 2015 Fleet Excellence (FLEXY) awards and has set a Jan. 16 deadline, the fleet management association has announced.
The awards honor achievement in public fleets and corporate fleets. Three finalists for each award will be chosen. In addition, one award will be presented in the area of fleet leadership. The awards will be announced at NAFA's annual Institute & Expo (I&E) on April 19 in Austin, Texas.
Finalists are chosen from a panel of judges that includes fleet management professionals, members of the media, and industry organizations. To ensure the legitimacy of the awards, judges never see the names of the nominees or their organizations. Voting is based solely on the achievements listed by the nominees on their submission forms to allow for judging by merit, not name recognition, according to NAFA.
Individuals may nominate themselves or someone else. Fleet suppliers can nominate their clients as well. Entries in multiple categories are also accepted. If additional information for a submission is required, the nominee will be notified to present further data.
NAFA is accepting submissions via its FLEXY awards website.
