Mobile truck washer Fleet Clean USA is expanding into the St. Louis market next week and hopes to enter several other southern and Midwest markets by the end of the year, including Chicago, Indianapolis, Memphis, San Antonio, Jacksonville, and Birmingham, Ala.

The franchise business based in Melbourne, Fla., has grown revenue by 49% for the first half of the year in what the company pegs as the $12 billion truck washing industry, said Scott Marr, the company's CEO.

"We're really looking for new franchise owners to join the system," Marr said. "We're hopeful that in those markets we can find solid franchise owners that are looking to join a system like ours that’s fast growing and want to be a part of what we have."

The company now operates in 15 states and about 200 cities with 23 franchises and five corporately owned businesses. The company uses Ford F-650 or Freightliner M2 rigs set up with pressure washers and wash recovery equipment such as hose reels and containment for the wash water.

It's clients include Waste Management, FedEx, Sysco Corp., and US Foods.

Fleet Clean began in 2009, and hopes to open seven new locations by the end of 2017. The initial franchise fee costs between $25,000 and $75,000.
