Mitsubishi Motors of North America will show updated versions of its Outlander Sport compact SUV and Mirage subcompact car at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week.
The updated models will get their global debuts for an automaker that's seeking to "bring a unified look to the Mitsubishi lineup," according to a release.
Mitsubishi will show the 2016 Outlander Sport and 2017 Mirage, which will feature new designs "rooted in the brand’s principles of unmatched value, attractive pricing and industry leading new vehicle and powertrain warranties," the company has announced.
The Outlander Sport, which is built on the RVR platform sold in various global markets, would likely enter its fourth generation with the 2016 model. The compact SUV entered its third generation with the 2010 model year.
The Mirage could enter its seventh generation, after debuting a sixth-generation vehicle with the 2012 model year.
The new vehicles will be initially shown on Nov. 18 during the press day.
