ELKHART, IN — Midway Specialty Vehicles recently unveiled a Dodge Sprinter Van with a Midway bus door at the College Football Hall of Fame 2005 Enshrinement Class and Festival in South Bend, Ind. Mike Violi, CEO/president of Midway, donated the Dodge Sprinter Van and driver (John Violi, sales executive for Midway) to transport inductees from O’Hare and Midway Airports to the festivities in South Bend, Ind. Midway’s Sales Executive, John Violi, transported many inductees including Joe Kapp, Lydell Mitchell, Ray Guy, Charles Young, and legendary coach “Frosty” Westering and their family mem-bers. Violi himself was honored with an official certificate from the National Football Foundation as a four-year letter winner/starter at Youngstown State University from 1970-1973, and is now listed on the permanent team roster at the College Football Hall of Fame. Violi played offensive/defensive tackle and protected and graduated with NFL great Ron “The Rifle” Jaworski.
