DETROIT — Decoma International announces that the Mid Box storage unit and matching topper for the Canyon and Colorado mid-size pickups are now being offered through Chevrolet and GMC truck dealers. The Mid Box unit offers a solution for secure storage problems in the telecom, pest control, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and construction businesses, among others. The unit features doors with locks on both sides for secure storage. It mounts across the back of the cab and is accessible from both sides of the vehicle. Its low profile does not block the driver’s rearward view and it accommodates a topper. The Mid Box allows for separation of chemicals between the box and bed. Optional roll-out drawers secure cargo in rough terrain. It is available with or without drawers to allow storage of large containers. Interior dome lights are available. A telecom topper model includes different size bins for various size items. Toppers are available with single or double ladder racks and a pvc tub. Door handles and locks on the mid box match those on the cab to give it a finished look and feel with genuine GM parts. Heavy-duty door seals make the interior of the mid box weather- and dust-resistant. Rotary latches, double-bitted keys and tumbler locks provide security for equipment. Contoured double-paneled doors provide strength and integrate with Canyon and Colorado styling. Mid Box Dimensions:
