MetroGistics Merges With McNutt Automotive Logistics
Vehicle logistics service provider MetroGistics has merged with McNutt Automotive Logistics, which provides asset and light logistics services, the companies have announced.
Vehicle logistics service provider MetroGistics has merged with McNutt Automotive Logistics, which provides asset and light logistics services, the companies have announced.
Following the merger, MetroGistics will maintain its headquarters in Saint Louis and a satellite office in Clinton, Mo.
The combined entities will offer a full range of logistics and asset-based transportation solutions to customer segments including new car manufacturers, the used car market, new and used car dealerships, remarketing companies, auctions, and the personally owned vehicles market.
The merger is expected to result in customer benefits such as reduction in transit time through better efficiencies; a 20-percent growth in carrier base; dedicated dispatch coordinators; expanded reach and a bigger footprint; as well as new and shared technologies.
