MetroGistics Holdings has acquired a title and registration services company that services the fleet industry and auto dealers to further expand its reach as a vehicle logistics organization.
MetroGistics' acquisition of Metro Title Services looks to improve its reach, market share, processing power and technology solutions for fleet management companies and other clients, according to the company.
“We are very excited to be joining the MetroGistics/AmeriFleet family. Our plan is to combine the best of our organizations’ compliance-services capabilities to optimize our combined strengths in processing capacity, production processes, market-leading technology, personnel, state relations, Canadian presence, and reputation in the OEM, dealer and aftermarket sectors,” said Eric Kaseff, vice president, Metro Title Services.
Metro Title Services works with more than 2,200 government licensing jurisdictions in the U.S. and Canada, and processes an average of 1,000 transactions daily, including titles and registrations, renewals, replacement credentials, repo/bonded/salvage titles, corrections and refunds, the company announced in a release.
Earlier this year, MetroGistics merged its operations with AmeriFleet, another vehicle logistics company.
MetroGistics has client base that includes OEM vehicle manufacturers, major dealership groups, and rental car companies. AmeriFleet operates 68 locations throughout the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.
“Beyond title and registration, we also plan for our combined operations to expand service offerings in the compliance arena to include International Registration Plan, recall tracking, title storage and management, DOT compliance, and more,” said John Norris, executive vice president of client services, AmeriFleet.
