Merchant Fleet’s Charlton Earns Spot on Women in Tech List
The National Diversity Council has named Jeanine L. Charlton, senior VP and chief technology and digital officer at Merchants Fleet, as one of its Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology for 2020.

The National Diversity Council has named Jeanine L. Charlton, senior VP and chief technology and digital officer at Merchants Fleet, as one of its Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology for 2020.
Charlton has led successful digital transformation efforts at Merchants, which has invested in its technology infrastructure and platform as part of its recent growth.
Charlton has implemented Agile across Merchants Fleet, which has led to faster enhancements and additions to Merchants Fleet’s proprietary software platform — TotalView — at a lower Cost.

Charlton joined Merchants Fleet in June 2018 after serving as a Merchants Fleet board member. Her focus is on positioning Merchants for technological advancement and continue growth while creating a culture that celebrates innovation and collaboration, according to Merchants.
She has an extensive Fortune 100 technology leadership background in the automotive, transportation, supply chain and manufacturing industries.
Charlton will accept her award and speak at the 16th Annual Diversity and Leadership Conference in Houston, Texas on April 21-22, 2020.
The National Diversity Council’s Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology recognizes women who are prominent leaders that have reached the top of their profession. Honorees directly contribute to the strategic growth of their organizations, demonstrate a commitment to corporate citizenship, maintain a record of accomplishment in their areas of expertise, operate with the highest ethics and integrity, and actively mentor the next generation of female professionals in the industry, according to the company.
