STUTTGART, GERMANY — It's not what you would call a major overhaul, but Mercedes-Benz outlined some changes to its top-of-the-line CLS63 AMG and introduced a new V6-engined CLS280, according to the Web site www.Edmunds.com.

Details include a new black-painted radiator grille with two louvers instead of three, bigger light-alloy wheels — 19 inches instead of 18 inches — and a new AMG sport steering wheel with a three-spoke design. The AMG sport exhaust system gets redesigned rear silencers to "deliver an even more captivating soundtrack through the two sets of oval-shaped, chromed twin tailpipes," Mercedes-Benz said in a statement.

The CLS63 AMG is set for a March launch in Europe, with prices starting at the equivalent of $156,100, according to Edmunds.

Mercedes-Benz also announced the new CLS280, equipped with a "sophisticated" new entry-level engine, a V6 with a displacement of 2,996cc that churns out 231 horsepower and 211 pound-feet of torque. It takes the CLS280 from zero to 60 mph in less than 7.7 seconds. Minor exterior changes to the CLS include a redone grille, new exterior mirrors and a new rear apron and taillights.
