Mercedes Appoints Mark A. Webster as General Manager, Pre-Owned and Fleet Operations
MONTVALE, NJ - Webster will report to Mike Slagter, senior vice president, sales, for the automaker.
MONTVALE, NJ – Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) has appointed Mark A. Webster to the position of general manager, pre-owned and fleet operations. Webster replaces M. Bart Herring and reports to Mike Slagter, senior vice president, sales, for the automaker.
According to MBUSA, Webster started his career in the automotive industry with Nissan North America’s Infiniti division holding various titles in sales operations before being promoted to market manager for northern California.
He joined MBUSA in 2001 as the market manager for the San Francisco region before arriving at the company’s corporate headquarters as the market manager for the Northeast region in 2004. He then moved to regional sales development for the northeast region and became department manager for national pre-owned sales in 2006.
Webster has an MBA and an undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and resides in Basking Ride, New Jersey, according to the company.
