SAN DIEGO, CA – SmartDrive Systems Inc., a supplier of driver risk management systems and services, has completed a full fleet deployment at McBride Electric, a nationwide electrical contractor. SmartDrive was able to achieve a rapid installation and deployment of safety platform to all 14 McBride locations nationwide, from Atlanta to San Diego.

SmartDrive’s service offers hardware and software solutions that capture onboard video events of problematic driving incidents. SmartDrive then organizes the management, professional review, and driver retraining and improvement from these incidents through a managed Web-based portal service accessible anywhere/anytime by fleet managers, risk managers, safety managers, and company executives.

McBride Electric fleet consists of one-ton trucks and vans made by Chevrolet. SmartDrive interfaces with these vehicles’ OBD port to provide McBride with custom vehicle utilization data including speed, daily mileage, hours of use, and other maintenance and usage data
