The starting price of Mazda's 2018 CX-3 increases $150 to $20,110, as the subcompact SUV adds several new standard features, including the Smart City Brake Support pre-crash safety feature, Mazda announced.

The front-wheel-drive CX-3 is entering its third model year as Mazda's entry-level crossover. New available features include a full-color driving display, power driver's seat, and heated steering wheel.

The optional i-Activ all-wheel drive system now features G-Vectoring, which improves driving dynamics including steering, handling, and stability. The 2018 CX-3's chassis and steering have been revised to improve handling, increase comfort, and better suppress road noise.

Smart City Brake Support is an automated frontal crash system that can apply the brakes below 19 mph. It's already available on the Mazda3 and CX-5.

Mazda will again offer the CX-3 in three trim grades, including the Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. Optional packages include the Touring Preferred for Touring and the GT Premium for Grand Touring.

The retail price doesn't include a $940 destination fee.
