Mazda to Relocate North American HQ in 2017

Effective Feb. 2017 Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) will continue its 30-year residency in Irvine, Calif. as it looks to move to an all-new state-of-the-art facility at 200 Spectrum Center Drive, as a result of a 10-year lease.

Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) has signed a lease to move into a new facility that will keep the automaker in Irvine, Calif., for at least 10 years starting in February of 2017, Mazda has announced.

Mazda will occupy five floors of the 21-floor building covering 102,000 square feet with exclusive naming rights on the top of the building.

Mazda will also occupy half of the lobby with vehicle displays to create "a premium first impression." The new building will allow for a mobile, flexible and technologically advanced work environment for its employees.

Mazda became the occupant of its current location at 7755 Irvine Center Drive in October of 1987. Mazda relocated to Irvine from Compton, Calif., where it first established its North American headquarters in 1970.

Mazda North American Operations oversees the sales, marketing, parts and customer service support of Mazda vehicles in the U.S. and Mexico through nearly 700 dealers.
