Mazda Announces 2016-MY CX-5, Mazda6 Pricing

Mazda has announced pricing for its 2016 CX-5 compact SUV and Mazda6 mid-size sedan. The models are offered in front- and all-wheel drive across the Sport, Touring and Grand Touring (GT) trim levels.

Mazda has announced pricing for its 2016 CX-5 compact SUV and Mazda6 mid-size sedan. The models are offered in the Sport, Touring and Grand Touring (GT) trim levels.

The 2016-MY CX-5 compact SUV, offered in front-wheel and all-wheel drive, has increased in price by $250, starting at $21,795. Mazda has updated the front and rear seats and suspension system, as well as to sound insulation performance throughout the vehicle. The Touring and GT models now have the Mazda Connect infotainment syustem with a 7-inch color touchscreen display. The GT model gets 19-inch alloy wheels.

The front-wheel 2016 CX-5 Sport is powered by a 2.5L four-cylinder engine that replaces the 2.0L engine.

The Mazda6 Sport base model retails for $21,495 with a manual transmission. The 2016-MY vehicle is $305 pricier, though the same package with an automatic gearbox has only been lifted $100 to $22,995.

The mid-size sedan has a number of changes to the design of the vehicle including the shape of the instrument panel and new front grille and LED headlamps. The sedan also gets the Mazda Connect infotainment system with a 7-inch color touchscreen across all trim levels.
