Manheim will host a unique Ford Factory sale Nov. 11 at Lauderdale-Miami Auto Auction (LMAA) with inventory of special interest to taxi and livery companies. LMAA is the first Manheim auction marketing vehicles specifically to these industries. Nearly 800 2004-model cars and trucks, more than twice the usual volume of vehicles at LMAA’s Ford sales, are expected to run through the lanes. Among those offered will be 300 Crown Victorias, Grand Marquis, and Town Cars, popular for use as taxis and limos. The closed sale will begin at 5 p.m. Hundreds of Ford and Lincoln-Mercury dealers are expected to attend the sale at the auction, and hundreds more will view the sale, bid on vehicles, and buy online via Simulcast.
