Manheim has announced that Mike Corrado has been named regional director of dealer sales, Northeast, and Jim Currey has joined as regional manager of dealer sales, Midwest.
“These management changes, undertaken to play on the strengths of the individuals, are designed to strengthen Manheim’s dealer sales operations,” said Mike McKinney, vice president of dealer sales.
Corrado, previously general manager of Baltimore-Washington Auto Exchange in Elkridge, Md., joined Manheim in July 1995 as dealer sales manager at Fredericksburg Auto Auction in Fredericksburg, Va. He brought with him six years of auto auction experience. In May 1999, Corrado was promoted to assistant general manager of Kansas City Auto Auction, a position he held until August 2002 when he was named general manager of Baltimore-Washington Auto Exchange.
Currey brings 20 years of experience in the retail automotive industry to Manheim. He served in numerous positions of increasing responsibility at dealerships, including general sales manager, business manager and general manager, for 12 of those years. Currey also spent eight years providing consulting services and sales management training to dealerships.
