Lyft Adds D.C. Bikeshare to App
Lyft will also add public transit info for nearby counties into its app.

In addition to ride-hailing, bikeshare, and public transit information, users can also unlock Lyft scooters with the app.

Lyft users in the Washington, D.C., area will now be able to unlock rental bikes from Capitol Bikeshare within the Lyft app, according to NBC4.
The ride-hailing group also announced that it will add public transit information for Alexandria, Virginia, Prince George's County, Md., and Fairfax County, Va. Additionally, Lyft will add information for D.C. Metro's rail and bus service to the app.
In addition to ride-hailing, bikeshare, and public transit information, users can also unlock Lyft scooters with the app.
Officials from Lyft told the news outlet that the Washington, D.C. are will be the first region to have multiple forms of transportation available within the Lyft app.
