Lincoln revealed Nautilus, its new 2019 midsize luxury SUV, at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Nautilus replaces the Lincoln MKX luxury SUV.
The Nautilus offers a 2.7-liter engine that delivers an estimated 335 horsepower (hp) and 380 pound-feet (lb.-ft.) of torque. A standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivers an estimated 245 hp. Both engines include auto start-stop capability and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
New technologies for the Nautilus include a lane-centering feature that pairs adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality and evasive steer assist, which uses radar and cameras to analyze the gap between slower-moving and stationary vehicles. Additional driver assist technologies include pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection, blind spot information system, active park assist, lane-departure warning, and lane-keep aid.
The new 2019 Lincoln Nautilus will be available at dealers this summer.
Lincoln also announced the launch of its vehicle subscription service pilot program in California. Beginning early 2018, the service will allow clients to select a month-to-month vehicle subscription that includes insurance, maintenance, roadside assistance, and vehicle pickup and delivery.
The addition of new services like vehicle subscription stems from Lincoln’s Pickup and Delivery program, which launched in 2016. With Pickup and Delivery, a Lincoln service valet picks up a client’s vehicle at any location, provides the client with a complimentary Lincoln loaner vehicle, and returns the vehicle once service is complete.
