“This journey began 6 years ago and while it’s rewarding to get the external recognition, it’s even more rewarding to participate in our clients’ successes,” says Jon Toups, Senior Vice President, Corporate Fleet Division.

Through this strategic consulting program, a team of employees within LeasePlan are assigned to a client. This team is able to review the clients’ performance and recommends specific cost-saving opportunities and program modifications to improve efficiencies. This method, depending on the fleet size, can prove to be worth significant cost savings. For example, it was recently worth more than $1.5 million in annual savings for one of our clients.

Bryan Steele, Senior Vice President of Client Relations adds, “PDP was developed to deliver a consistent and disciplined approach to the way we serve our clients that goes above and beyond the typical client/provider relationship. The goal is to deliver a consultative, customer focused level of expertise in all areas of fleet management.”

“LeasePlan employees already possess a passion for helping our clients succeed,” says Toups, “Our PDP teams successfully focus that passion into innovative and deliverable solutions for our clients.”

LeasePlan USA was also proud to have received this honor in 2011, receiving the distinction of “Best Training Systems,” for the inaugural year of this award in Atlanta.

Smart Business honors companies for their superior customer service. The program serves to raise awareness of the importance of customer service in the business world, recognize organizations that demonstrate exceptional customer service and share best practices in customer service from those that do it best.
