LeasePlan USA has appointed two executives to its leadership team: Greg Buckland, who will serve as the company’s new chief information officer, and Matt Patterson, who was named senior vice president, general counsel and secretary.

LeasePlan USA has appointed two executives to its leadership team: Greg Buckland, who will serve as the company’s new chief information officer, and Matt Patterson, who was named senior vice president, general counsel and secretary.
As CIO, Buckland will manage all aspects of LeasePlan USA’s information technology (IT) functions and ensure delivery of all IT services to support the business requirements of internal users and customers, LeasePlan USA announced. In addition to overseeing technology activities in the United States, Buckland will lead additional regions globally, including Brazil, Canada, India and Mexico.

“The industry is experiencing change and moving increasingly toward data integration and mobility as a whole. I have the opportunity in this role to lead the charge into this exciting new age of mobility” said Buckland.

Further still, Patterson, in his new role, will be responsible for both the legal and human resources functions of the organization, as well as secretarial functions for the LeasePlan USA Board of Directors.
Patterson joins LeasePlan from Consolidated Container Company, a leading plastic packaging and recycled resins manufacturer, where he served as vice president and deputy general counsel, the fleet management company said. His prior experience includes an executive position with Airserv Corporation and an associate position with the law firm of King & Spalding.
