LeasePlan USA has reorganized several key management responsibilities at the fleet management company. Following the retirement of Don Kreft, the former president and CEO, LeasePlan named David Dahm, its chief financial officer to be the interim president and CEO.
Lynn Labuda has been promoted to vice president – fleet operations and replaces Michael Wirt, who left the company to pursue other interests. Labuda is responsible for the departments of Licensing and Title, Used-Vehicle Remarketing, Fleet Technical Services, Purchasing, and Fleet Management Services. She has worked in the fleet management industry for the past 22 years. Prior to joining LeasePlan, she previously worked for GE Capital Fleet Services and McCullagh Leasing.
Richard Pipenhagen has been named vice president of sales and will report to Gary Scanlon, senior vice president of sales and marketing. Pipenhagen’s prior position, vice president of business development and industry relations, was terminated and will not be filled.
In addition, LeasePlan has appointed two new sales managers. Randy Pozin, formerly with Union Leasing, has been hired to service the Midwest markets and will be based at LeasePlan’s Schaumburg, IL office. Geoff Fowler has been promoted to service the southeastern U.S. and will relocate to Charleston, SC. Previously, Fowler was fleet maintenance supervisor for LeasePlan.
