LeasePlan clients can more efficiently manage aspects of their fleet via their smart phone or tablet thanks to ePlan Mobile for Fleet Managers.
ePlan Mobile for Fleet Managers is designed to increase efficiencies of fleet managers by adding the flexibility of approving/declining service authorization requests via mobile devices. All service authorization types can be managed via ePlan Mobile for Fleet Managers, such as collision repair, mechanical and other related items.
Ginny Liddle, corporate fleet administrator for Terracon Consultants, Inc., said, “It is a wonderful extension of ePlan. I first used it when I had to work from home because of a snow storm. Drivers could still get their vehicles repaired on time because I could approve the services from my mobile phone.”
ePlan Mobile for Fleet Managers is also a crucial tool for her fleet staff.
Liddle said, “Most of my fleet reps are in the field and really rely on it for approving everything.”
The mobile site enables users to:
Gain freedom and flexibility while performing their job duties
Increase productivity and keep drivers mobile
Prioritize the most time sensitive service requests
“ePlan Mobile for Fleet Managers can also help minimize driver downtime because it prioritizes approver requests based on whether or not the driver is waiting on their vehicle. These service requests are bumped to the top of the list to be more visible to the fleet manager for quicker approval,” said Nancy D’Amico, senior vice president and chief information officer.
