The deadline to submit a nominee for the 2018 Fleet Executive of the Year Award will close this Friday, June 1.

The Fleet Executive of the Year award was created to recognize exceptional leadership by those who have a title of vice president or higher and may also have other responsibilities beyond fleet. The award is sponsored by The CEI Group. Judges of the award will evaluate criteria submissions including cost-saving initiatives, policy setting, creation of innovative programs, and cultivation of fleet manager training and management.

The Fleet Executive of the Year and Professional Fleet Manager of the Year awards will be announced at the 2018 AFLA conference, which will be held October 1 - 3 at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes resort in Orlando, Fla.

Last year, Caryn Helmandollar, vice president of risk management for Ferguson Enterprises, Inc., was named the 2017 Fleet Executive of the Year.

The winner of the Fleet Executive of the Year Award will be profiled in the November/December issue of Fleet Financials.
