Kia is rolling out a software update that will enable Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in eight of its nameplates covering model years from 2014 to 2017, the automaker announced.

Vehicles eligible for the update include the 2017 Forte, 2015 and 2016 Optima, 2015 and 2016 Optima Hybrid, 2015 and 2016 Sedona, 2014-2016 Soul, 2015 and 2016 Soul EV, 2016 Sorento, and 2017 Sportage.
Eligible vehicles must be equipped with a compatible navigation system or UVO3, according to the automaker.
