KIRKLAND, WA - Kenworth Truck Company has produced a free manual for the Kenworth T300 medium duty conventional chassis. The Kenworth Medium Duty Body Builders Manual contains comprehensive sections on dimensions, safety and compliance, body mounting, frame modifications, and electrical. “It's imperative for Kenworth and body builders to work together so that each body can be installed easily and efficiently when the builder takes delivery. The Kenworth Medium Duty Body Builders Manual will aid in this important process,” said Jeff Sass, Kenworth marketing planning and research director. In addition, the Kenworth manual is useful when specifying a vehicle, particularly when the body builder is involved in the vehicle definition and ordering process, according to Sass. Early in the process, professional body builders can often contribute valuable information that helps to reduce the cost of the body installation for customers. This kind of support for the Kenworth T300 contributed to Kenworth's reception of the 2005 J.D. Power and Associates awards for “Highest in Customer Satisfaction in the Conventional Medium Duty Truck Segment and Medium Duty Dealer Service.” The new Kenworth Medium Duty Body Builders Manual is available as a PDF file for electronic download and printing under T300 in the Products Section of Kenworth's home page at www.kenworth.com.
