Kappel Named Fleet Coordinator for Sprague Energy
LAWRENCE, NY - Arthur Kappel was named fleet coordinator for Sprague Energy Corp. on March 8. Previously, he worked for Cablevision for eight years, most recently serving as fleet service advisor.

LAWRENCE, NY - Arthur Kappel was named fleet coordinator for Sprague Energy Corp. on March 8. Previously, he worked for Cablevision for eight years, most recently serving as fleet service advisor.
Sprague's Lawrence, N.Y.-based fleet is comprised of approximately 30 vehicles. Kappel's responsibilities include driver and mechanic safety and maintenance training, working with fleet and dispatch operations and systems. He also has risk management and fleet maintenance responsibilities.
According to Kappel, Sprague Energy is working on a "Sharing the Road" program with a local high school to help educate new drivers on issues truck drivers face on the road like distracted driving and truck blind spots.
"We are hoping this will help them start off as responsible drivers," said Kappel.
Kappel is currently the Chapter Chair for NAFA Fleet Management Association's New York Chapter.
