VANCOUVER, BC – Jim Pattison Lease has purchased Westminster Auto Leasing Ltd. and Vancouver Hino Truck Sales, both of Burnaby, BC, effective May 1, 2007. Westminster Auto Leasing Ltd. has been a service leader in the commercial fleet leasing markets of Vancouver and Calgary for more than 46 years. Operating for more than 20 years, Vancouver Hino Truck Sales is a medium-duty Hino franchise in BC. All of the current 35 employees will be joining the Jim Pattison Lease team to continue the successful operation of the businesses.

This acquisition increases Jim Pattison’s portfolio to 16,000 vehicles under lease and management in Canada.

Jim Pattison Lease is a wholly owned division of Jim Pattison Industries Ltd., Canada’s third largest privately held company. Based in Calgary, Jim Pattison Lease is Canada’s largest western-based national fleet management and vehicle leasing company. Jim Pattison Lease has offices in Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, and Montréal.
