CERRITOS, CA – George Mulvaney, president of Mulvaney Mechanical Inc., is this year’s winner of the Isuzu 2006 Commercial Truck giveaway. Each year Isuzu Commercial Truck of America Inc. teams up with Jobsite Magazine to conduct a sweepstakes that provides a lucky winner with a brand-new Isuzu gas truck equipped with a Supreme Corp. body and customized decals by TruckSkin. On June 7, Jon Woodbury, sales manager for Gabrielli Truck Sales of Milford, delivered the Isuzu NPR gas truck to Mulvaney Mechanical in Danbury, Conn., a full-range mechanical contracting company that installs various types of HVAC, exhaust, process piping, plumbing, heating, and fire protection systems. Throughout the year, Isuzu and Jobsite Magazine showcased Isuzu commercial trucks at various trade shows across the country. Earlier this year, Mulvaney filled out an Isuzu entry form at a Jobsite Magazine booth while attending a trade show in Chicago. Jobsite Magazine notified Mulvaney as the winner after his name was drawn out of thousands of entries. He was given the choice of a 12-foot Spartan Strongbox utility body or a 14-foot van body from Supreme Corp. The Isuzu NPR model comes equipped with a standard Vortec 6000 6.0L V-8 gasoline engine, which delivers 300 horsepower and 360 lb.-ft. of torque. It is also available with an optional 5.2L I-4 diesel. In order to accommodate various crew sizes, the trucks are offered with crew cabs that seat up to seven, as well as two- and three-passenger regular cabs.
