Infiniti, the luxury division of Nissan North America, announced on June 17 that it has launched an enhanced Infiniti Certified Pre-Owned Program (CPO). Every CPO vehicle comes with a three-year or 100,000 total-vehicle-mile limited warranty that starts on the customer's date of purchase and covers more than 1,100 components. Other features include service loan car, roadside assistance program, and trip interruption benefits. In an effort for CPO customers to build relationships with Infiniti dealers, the first oil change at any dealer is at no cost to the customer. In order for a vehicle to be eligible for the CPO program, it must pass a 142-point inspection, be less than six model years old, have less than 70,000 miles on the odometer, and be previously titled to another party. Each CPO covered repair has a $50 excess. Customers can also pay to extend the CPO warranty with either of two plans effective for a further two years or 10,000 miles.
