Carl LaForest, a long-time former employee of McCullagh Leasing and GE Capital Fleet Services, died suddenly on March 7. He was 58.
LaForest had a long and successful career at GE Capital Fleet Services where he worked as a senior account manager and, at the time of his death, was consulting with Alteris Group working on the Ford account.
He was born in Detroit Oct. 3, 1957, and grew up in Southfield, Mich. He graduated from Groves High School and the University of Michigan.
LaForest is survived by his wife Amy and three daughters Genevieve, Michelle, and Caroline.
